History: Located on the grounds of Valley Head Elementary School, Valley Head Public Library was originally housed in a retired bookmobile in 1975. Two years later, Valley Head received one of the first four outpost libraries in the state. An addition was constructed in 1983, and the Valley Head Public Library now serves 4,200 residents in Randolph County.
